Female Commentator gets the flick

I find it interesting no one has a problem with her calling on the radio.
When she called for 3AW no one complained.
She works for ABC, no one complains.

Correct.

That is why this discussion IS occurring.
She is hopeless and is the worst commentator i've heard due to the fact she has a female voice.
She probably is a lovely girl who has great footy knowledge.
But that's not the point unfortunately.
It's just one of those things that should be left to a male voice.

So - if the caller was a male, with no idea about the players on the field, who they are, calling the action wrongly and generally making a complete hash of the whole thing - that is more acceptable than a female who is getting the players right and the action correct?

CK the male with no idea would not get the job if that was the case - hence that example would never apply.

Do you really believe she was better than her male colleagues or do you maybe think this was a experiment which failed?

Alot of people don't listen to the radio, and if she came on it is easier to change the radio station.

Personally, I just can't stand her. It's not a chick thing, I don't like Christian or Quartermain either.

Due to my automobile only having am radio... I was stuck listening to ABC Grandstand on saturday & her tennis commentary.....

She's pulled of the hat-trick of her commentary annoying me in 3 sports (tennis, netball, football)
