Apparently next weeks game against Geelong and Collingwood is live out of Melbourne as Hamish Mclachlan said on AFL game day this morning with Better homes and Gardens to be shown on saturday night. Hooray!

Only good if you live in Melbourne. We will still get it at 8.30 or 8.50 by the time the ball is bounced.

I don't mind Kelly commentating football I cannot see what the fuss is about. At least it is not Christie Malthouse.

Will we get the game live on Friday night, seeing Malbourne will be showing it live?? It will be a disgrace if we don't get it.

Could be worse, didn't have the Geelong games last round on any station.
Ironic as they're one of the very few teams worth watching.

I simply can NOT watch a game with her commentating. Totally unbearable to listen to. I simply turn the telly off or watch something else and just flick back occasionally for score updates.
Mind you, several of the male commentators are pretty sickly to listen to as well.

Does any one know for sure whether it is just Victoria getting live coverage friday night?

"He runs into an open goal and bangs another sausage straight through the middle, oh boy there pumped, what a goal"

Not an actual quote from the female commentator but she has mastered the art of how many cliches you can crack into the one sentence.

If she was to commentate on AFL Grand Final day i would immediately switch off.

Just looked on the AFL site, it seems the whole nation is getting it live either through Ch 7, Regional TV or Foxtel Main Event apart from Adelaide, Rest of SA, Perth and the Rest of WA.

I can understand why the won't put it on in WA as it'd only be 5.30pm but not to show it here is baffling

Just saw tomorrow's game is being telecast live into the Riverland. Starts at 7pm. You little beauty. :D

I'd say that means the rest of SA should be getting it live too.

i just checked an online TV Guide, and it still has the footy on at 8:30. but it seems as though regional SA is getting it live, as said by a few rgional posters on here. Surely they wouldn't have it live in Ceduna but not here?

Although, is Victor Harbor regional enough?
