Talk on the national game

Not only gutsy footy, but exciting footy and perhaps the first legitimate time Tigers fans have been able to get excited at the footy in a long time ... Plenty of pace and a forward target who had really taken his game to a massive new level.

I was on the Swans yesterday $-wise, but it was hard to not want to see Richmond get up.

Im another one that has to put their hand up, I really couldn't see the Tigers picking up more than perhaps 2 wins this year .. It's amazing how quickly things can change.

Also, they were superbly lead by Newman yesterday, fantastic game.

Must be the under dog in me, but i loved watching Richmond win yesterday.

Great game, great passion at the end.

How tough was that kid Collins. (was that his name?)

Reckon he'll be getting a fair wrap on On The Couch tonight, brilliant stuff.

Also thought the Tigers played to their crowd really well and drew on that energy ... Riewoldts mark running back with the flight late in the 3rd quarter nearly brought the grandstand down (and rightly so).

Dunno about that. Even without Barlow Freo are a more credientaled side than Sydney. If Freo are still Freo then why are they in the top four? You can't factor in your improvement but neglect to acknowledge theirs when assessing this match.

As long as Dean Polo isn't playing, Richmond have a chance.

Yeah me to WLF. Even though I picked the Swans I did enjoy the way Richmond played and won, it was great football to watch.

They certainly have, before the start of the yeah it was believed that Melbourne and West Coast were well in front of Richmond, but now you would suggest that Richmond and in front of the West Coast (Clearly) and probably now looking at similar time frames for future finals campaings as melbourne.

I like 9th!
Percentage could stop that from happening though.

Richmond will eventually have to find that second forward. Young Jack will go well but you dont want the get the problem of having only the one key forward. I supposed Morton is the other one at the moment.

I know it is a BIG IF but if only Richo was a few years younger and still playing.
Would make things interesting. Having said that I do enjoy watching Richmond this year - they are having a real go - not unlike their coach who was always keen on having a go..
