Despite the fact they have knocked over a couple of moderately performing teams of late, it befuddles me why Brisbane is not considered genuine contenders to go deep into September. Certainly, Bradshaw is a loss for them, but should get Brennan back next week and look set to get Leuenberger back for finals. An in-form midfield, with Black, Power and Rich all in pretty reasonable form, some promising kids like Jack Redden and an underrated defence, with the likes of Drummond and McDonald having great seasons. Reckon on the wide expanses of the MCG, they could cause some real headaches on their day.
Can you guess where I'm calling from, the Las Vegas Hilton...

One of the worst games of football I've seen last night, offset by a great comeback from Brisbane.
How Travis Johnstone still gets a game is beyond me.
Coughed it up on so many occasions yesterday, mostly under little or no pressure.

Good call.
They've given him a heap of opportunities, but he is a lost cause.
Looks terrible and plays like it.

Hawksley was another who turned the ball over too much last night.
I'm sorry to say it, but I think we'll have an early finals exit.

The game may not have been spectacular but I don't care about weaving pretty patterns over the field. We showed a lot of character to come back from a 47-point deficit and a performance like that is very encouraging.

Of course. Showed a lot of guts to come back like that.
But against the top sides, we can't afford to give away a 40-point lead by quarter time.

Hows J Brown for guts! that bloke eats cement for breakfast! Braddy cleaned him up somethin chronic and he stays out there, obviously struggling, he then almost knocks himself out again faceplant style, then couple minutes later takes a good contested mark but missed the shot on goal. would liked to see him kick that!
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

JB is as hard as nails , Brisbabne has been blessed with some tough forwards over there journey. Roger Merret , Alistair Lynch , Warrick Capper & Browny.
