Solomon a minimum of 8 and Buchanan got what he deserved for a deliberate charge.

The match review panel assessed Solomon's hit as INTENTIONAL, SEVER IMPACT and HIGH CONTACT – resulting in nine activation points – enough for the case to be referred straight to the tribunal on Tuesday night with no offer of an early plea.

The 28-year-old's existing bad record of three matches suspended in the last three years and 32.81 demerit points carried over from within the last 12 months also counted against him.

My guess, considering Lingie will also miss a month of football would be 10-12 match's. Deservedly.

and for the best news  -

In the other case for the night Daniel Pratt was cleared of making unnecessary contact to the face of the Power's Brett Ebert in the Roos/Power clash on Saturday night.

On leaving the Tribunal, Pratt said he was relieved the ordeal was over.

"I'm glad I've got past that and I can now look forward to next week," Pratt said.

I love this points system, that's this case and Barry Hall's Ive virtually predicted spot on now, the current system is so simple and the best by far, I can't believe most people have issues with it.

Freo are now alleged to be seeking legal advice about Solomon's suspension
I wonder if they want to try to get him off or are worried about a civil case for damages.

Freo have had second thoughts about appealing and are now going to 'cop it on the chin'.

I'm just happy that he'll be out for longer than Lingy. I'm not making any more comments on the Freo game.

A leading elbow in the NRL would have got 15 weeks.
