I am a massive Mattner fan and always will be but they are 2 different type players and the crows are in need for a Symes type player.

Good result for both players really !!!

Where is the room for them all? There isn't, therefore= waste.

Come on Lemon, lime - if the Crows can't find room for Symes in their line up, I'd be quite surprised.

Hinge isn't up to AFL standard, Torney and McLeod in their 30's, Pfeiffer hasn't done anything at AFL level, and Symes has 10 years in front of him and has played reasonably in an AFL g/f.

First time I've ever been happy to see a quality recruit go to the Crows.

Don't think the Dogs will see much of him. Better than Chocko gave him credit for.

I am hoping Symes will eventually develop in to a midfielder

Symes was a huge Crows supporter as a kid, he would be loving this opportunity

he will make the crows best 22 next year

quotes from Symes

Being from a family of Crows supporters and a former season ticket holder, joining the Adelaide Football Club is almost like “returning home” for Symes.

“I am really pleased to join the team that I grew up barracking for,” he said. “I had season tickets for about ten years (prior to being drafted) and even though I had been at Port for the last four years my Mum remained a die-hard Crow, so it’s really good to be back.”

They probably could but the spot he would be best suited for is HBF, at the moment no, but I suspect this is a move for the future. I think symes has a lot to offer in the future. Anyway just my opinion.

Pfeiffer isn't a dud, and Hinge is a solid player who looked completely comfortable in his lone AFL game. How you can delist someone who looked so at home is beyond me.

Accepting mediocrity. Doughty is soooo average and Jericho has no heart.

As an Adelaide member that is the disappointing part of the delisting Hinge and Pfeiffer have a future and can improve with more game time at AFL level, well we know what were going to get with Doughty and Jericho and they are as good as they are ever going to be.

NFC for once I agree with you
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
