I don't think Essendon were going to keep these blokes on anyway. There is also the situation that Ben Howlett will reportedly only stay if Hird stays. So far the only player on the move that Essendon would regard as required is Ryder. It will be very interesting to see what happens when the 60,000+ members get their say.

Correct.
Hardingham was doing to be delisted last year but was kept as a backup. Both Kav and Hardy couldnt break into our ordinary side this year so they dont have much to offer. Winders is drained by the whole saga dragging on and wants to seek a move. Ryder is a big loss but that has more to do with the lack of indigenous players at the club combined with the saga

Far more in the pro Hird camp.
Even if Hird goes, Bomber wouldnt get the job. A lot more to the story than you think

Apparently Collingwood asking for Redden in return for Beams.
Not sure if there's a pick in there, as well.

Obviously otherwise he would be on the dole queue by now

Pick 5 & Redden

Maybe I don't watch enough Collingwood (which is difficult considering the amount of times they are on TV...but I digress) but pick 5 and redden for Beams? one or the other but both?

You can cheer when he lays his first tackle...my guess is somewhere late August or early September. Runs around in space and doesn't win a contest. Nearly every time the ball goes in Varcoe's area we lost the ball. He will drive you batshit.

Beams is quality and had plenty of years ahead of him. I think Pick 5 and an ok mid would be about the mark

Beams shits all over Redden. Pick 5 in a shallow draft is the sweetener.

you are the first person to day that this is a shallow draft. people have been saying it is one of the deeper ones! very even apart from the top few standouts

Each to their own I guess, Beams would compliment Rockliff and co. superbly- is a very, very good player imo.

I've heard the same as Benny, very deep draft this year.

Recruiters reckon it's pretty thin.
