His last 10 minutes compared to Martins.... Dangerfield back to trying to do it all himself, taking on plays that he shouldn't. Martin composed and choosing the right option

Danger going at 30%, you can never knock Danger for effort he just gets very little support.

We are used to it, we don't get home finals and we don't get home ground umpire advantages, it's why I said for years we'd never win a flag again before 2007 as the odds are stacked against us more than any club in the comp.
It's ok for Brisbane to have home finals when the GABBA only held 17k but we are not allowed to have home finals when our ground holds 30k. Go figure.

Yep. The only thing a game at Simmonds wouldn't have is 95k people. It would still be an awesome game with an awesome atmosphere. TV viewing would be through the roof.

Agreed, TV viewing would be even higher.

C'mon mate where were Brisbane going to play those finals? Suncorp?

This crowd proves that the game was played at the right venue and as Victorian media throw in our face all the time. GF's are played on the MCG and if you can't win big games there then you don't deserve to win the flag.

No doubt he tries hard but brings on a few clangers himself by trying to pull of the miracle play rather than the basic play. Did it 4 times at the start of the last qtr

Game turned a bit when Cam Guthrie went off injured, he was tagging Martin in conjunction with Scott Selwood, and they had him under control. Since then, Dusty has dominated and won them the match.

Any coincidence the 2 teams that won straight through to the prelim last year have taken the harder route this year?

There were. Mentioned earlier this week he would have been sacked but would have cost too much to pay threes years in his contract

So there's no advantage to finishing higher on the ladder for only one team in the comp?
Say next year west coast finish below Adelaide, is it fair the game is played at the new Perth Stadium as it holds more people?
Why did Brisbane get home games when the GABBA held only 17k?
The potential crowd would prove they were the right moves according to you?
Only one team has to play home finals at an away teams city, fact. That team should never have won a finals game and if that team has won any flags they're so much more amazing than the rest of the clubs in the comp. Oh hang on....

Silly argument. Play the final at the MCG as it holds more. It's in the home state. Poor attempt at twisting the debate.
