Pick 28 and Kerridge?? The clean out is on. I reckon Menzel goes OK.

Word on the street that Brisbane are trying to cut Collingwood out of the Aish/Bastinac deal and just deal exclusively with North.

Bastinac, 38 & 40 for Aish & 17.

Can't happen if Aish isn't happy with the trade.

If time is running out, he may just be glad to get out of Brisbane.

Be interesting to see how the players go, who Carlton have recruited from GWS.

If his lars holds he should be really good.

Atkins and especially grigg would be a bit worried though as their opportunities seem more limited

DONE DEAL: Carlton's picks 28, 77 & 95 & Geelong's 2016 1st-Rd pick go to GWS for pick No.8, Plowman, Lamb, Phillips & Sumner.

Menzel has heaps of potential but is unfortunately injury prone. His knee is suspect and he just had hip surgery. Hope he can string a few games together at the crows

Think your hatred of Carlton clouds your judgment to an extent. Injuries, lack of opportunities and a larger list always meant that certain players would inevitably leave. Time will tell about the GWS4 and who we pick with no8. Weitering at 1 will be star.

We are building from the bottom. Something we've never done before as we've always gone for the quick fix.

Unfortunately there are no real absolutes..except maybe that we'll have number 1 pick in the super draft next year. Be prepared for Gibbs and/or Murphy to be trade bait next year for more picks.

The deal was done last week. There's a reason it won't be 'official' until tomorrow.

So he was a contracted Collingwood player when they taped the video then?

Pick 8 is a good get and a couple of the GWS lads may turn it ok maybe. Lamb is very ordinary and its not Carlton im having a go at its SOS. He was the guy who took Plowman at pick 3 and injuries or otherwise he cant get into the GWS side. SOS aint the guru you Carlton believe he is, was hard to mess up a draft with a million top 10 picks gifted to him

Obviously not.

My point is nothing will come from it because the AFL have a finger in that Pie.
