Must be that time of year.
Josh Kennedy announces his retirement at the end of year too.
He's a player I've greatly admired.

Yeah just saw that as well. I thought this was going to be the case, his body takes a lot to keep on going.

He was a huge one for us in the Judd trade and still feel overall we won that trade in the end.

Love this bloke.

Will Ashcroft nominating father / son to get to Brisbane.

Massive win for Brisbane there. Quality midfielder to add to the mix next season.

Daniher, Franklin and Hipwood with McStay off to Collingwood. Seems an odd move by Brisbane.

I just stopped by to ask this exact question.

As good as Judd was, I agree with you. Carlton didn't win a flag with Judd, Kennedy was a huge catalyst in the Eagles success.

I always think of Jim Carrey in Fun with Dick and Jane when I'm watching him:

Any debate around this trade is insane, Kennedy has been the spear head of the biggest club in the country for 15 years, kicking over 700 goals. West Coats laughed all the way to the flag because of it.

Why would any club take on Buddy? Champion yes, but at 36 is he going to provide any value?

Agree, I can't see why you'd bother. He'll take up a portion of salary cap space and not play every game. Unless you can afford to carry someone like that, there doesn't seem to be a positive to it.

Brisbane have Hipwood and Daniher in their forward line already, why add a third?

As an aside, I think Daniher could make way for Buddy as I don't rate him but that's another story.

You don’t have a CHF anymore

You have a tall forward
A small forward
A defensive forward
A hybrid forward
A high forward

But not a centre half forward
