Why didnt Currie get a game tonight?
Thought they might have thrown Petrie into the ruck for awhile, wasnt like he was getting a touch anywhere else

Scrappy first half lot of errors but both teams having a crack. Saints up by 7 points at half time.
Liking the look of Dunstan and Templeton. Unsure of Delaney turned it over 3 times now kicking out of defence

Great 3rd qtr by the saints with our "inexperinced" midfield smashing the demons with Curren and Saunders getting plenty of it. Both teams gave it everything in a 3 min play of contest after contest. Hoping we can runaway with it with this 19pt lead.

If we can get 3-5 wins ill be happy with the year. Im really happy with how all our young players played i think we have some very good talent coming through. Just need to find another key forward for life with saint nick. Got to get rid of Maister though i dont rate him one bit.

Just seems unfortunate that you didn't get more out of your premiership window

Dustan- Wow.

Your spine looks very weak apart from Riewoldt atm, but bring in Hayes, Montagna, Fisher, Steven and it gives the side a bit of experience, find another key forward or 2 and another key defender or 2 and the saints will begin to mould a competitive side for the future.

I like Hickey- works really hard for a big fella and 14 touches and 24 hitouts is a good starting point for a lad very much still learning his craft.

Get him, Dunstan, BIllings, Saunders a bit of experience and add Steven, Jones, Armitage and co- and the saints have a competitive midfield.

Reports from Arden St are he'll front up this week. No tendon/ ligament damage.
Huge relief, he is North's most important player IMO.

Good news for North and Goldy. Bad news for supercoach players. ;)

Question for North supporters. Do you think it's time North started playing two ruckman? Also interesting that one twin picks one ruckman, while the other twin picks three.

probably the difference is North have a decent forward that can go in the ruck (petrie) wheras i dont think they want hawkins doing the same thing.

it was interesting that they did include simpson as a late inclusion though

They didn't use Petrie in the ruck on Friday night though.

he had 9 hitouts. maybe didnt do much centre square work but i guess he rucked a fair bit in the forward line.

Essendon only had Ryder too, maybe if bellchambers was playing too they would have played another ruckman

I think you have to play two ruckman. Sydney got exposed against GWS playing one.
