Does Cam Guthrie own a brain? Had two brain farts in the lat minute or so, had Paddy loose about ten metres away from him and got caught holding the ball then tried a barrel running full tilt to wobble it straight to the opposition.

He went off at Paddy for not passing to him earlier.

I don't - Fair enough the younger one had a stinker, but was thrown to the wolves whereas the elder should be mature and experienced enough not to make those rash errors in clutch moments. Reckon LM's criticism is fair enough

Sicily will probably get a week at least. Selwood wasn’t holding his leg when Sicily dropped his knee into his face.

Na, the one that took his top off last season and he had a bra on.

He's really improved as a ball getter but he smashed Geelong's hopes late in the game. After they got that 50 for nothing they should never of looked back, no one seemed to lift their eyes when running it out from half back.

Full credit to the Hawks, the desire to play for the jumper is incredible, I feel privileged that in my era whenever these two teams meet you know something epic is going happen.

A) youre still allowed to bend over and try and pick up the ball at the same time as someone else
B) the other bloke needs to get injured

Jack Riewoldt came out and said teams will start targetting Sicily because they know it doesnt take much for him to snap. He even had a crack at one of his players last year.

Sure is and it's a worrying trend. The AFL are hell bent on creating "fatigued" players to reduce congestion and increase scoring but that fatigue is causing players to break down more.

It's also interesting how many players are reporting tightness or muscle pain as opposed to seeing them go "ping" in game time.

This was a topic raised at a recent PAFC board meeting. No doubt other clubs have expressed concern also.

A worrying trend indeed.

Agree with most of that, but fatigued players isn't exactly a new thing

Of course not, but capping rotations has seen players fatigue earlier in games, therefore they are more fatigued late in games than they were only 2 or 3 years ago.
