No team ever makes finals with 11 wins, and this works out to 3 teams making it??

Cant see that happening at all!

We are currently 4-4.

We play 9 teams currently above us, and 5 teams currently below us.

If you assume we win all games against teams below us, we still have to pinch another 5 out of:
Hawks away
Freo away
Cats home
Doggies home
Crows away
Lions home
Tigers away
Giants home
Freo home

14 wins would be very optimistic.

Agreed, that's my role as the resident happy clapper.

We'll get Ebert, Jonas and Butters back this week for the Gold Coast. I've got that as a win.

The week after against the Hawks in Tassie is crucial. Absolutely crucial. I've got it as a win but, being the clapper I am I've gone with us prevailing.

Then St Kilda in China, we should win.

After the bye Wines and R.Gray will be back for Fremantle away (win) , Geelong at home, Brisbane home (win).

The games after the bye that are critical, Fremantle, Bulldogs, Brisbane we'll have Ebert, Jonas, Butter, Wines and R.Gray back into the lineup we took into the Showdown. Much stronger.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Shaun Grigg has played his last game for Richmond after the premiership Tiger officially announced his retirement from AFL football.

The 31-year-old, who has been battling a range of knee and hip issues, hadn’t registered a game in 2019 before informing his teammates of his decision on Tuesday.

A 2017 premiership player and Tigers life member, Grigg finishes his career with 214 AFL games to his name at both Richmond and Carlton.

After being traded from the Blues to the Tigers, Grigg famously reinvented himself as a second ruckman and utility, playing a key role in the Tigers’ drought-breaking 2017 flag.

“It’s been amazing to play 13 seasons of league football with two great clubs,” Grigg said.

“I’ve loved my football journey, and feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity to play this great game.

“Although it’s difficult to make the decision to call time on my own career, it may give the club a chance to provide someone else an opportunity.”

Herald Sun reporter Jon Ralph on Monday night said Grigg’s move would give Richmond a mid-season draft pick.

As he has retired before the May 27 draft, Richmond now has the ability to add another player to its list — and they’ve already scouted some talent.

“One of them is Coburg’s Sam Lowson, he’s a small forward there,” Ralph said.

Richmond football boss Neil Balme said Grigg was a class act throughout his career.

“Shaun has been a wonderful contributor to our football club on and off the field,” Balme said.

“We’ve loved the way he’s gone about his football — always bringing a team-first attitude to the roles we’ve asked him to play.

“He brings a lot of fun to the Club, and has built great connections to his teammates, staff and coaches, and we will miss him.

“We wish Shaun, his wife Sarah, and their two boys Sonny and Spencer all the best in their next chapter, and they’ll always be part of the Richmond family.”

Grigg has played 214 games, including 43 at Carlton, the club which drafted him with Pick 19 in the 2006 draft.

Straight swap for Andrew Collins in 2010. Collins played 11 games over 3 years at the Blues, Grigg went on to play 171 for Richmond including being a premiership ruckman in 2017.
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Replace a 30+ with another 30+ very doubtful Clarko would do that

Jenkins is ‘younger’ as he started playing much later

Clarkson recruited Vickery so anything is possible
