Essendon is open to trading Leroy Jetta, they are wanting a late 1st round or early 2nd round pick. Looks like another one headed to the PSD with Crameri.
Read an interesting stat, Essendon have only done 6 trades since 2006, all other clubs have done 9+. Very hard to deal with by all reports and clubs just dont bother.
Glad they traded in 09 though. Williams to Ess for pick 9, pick 9 to Power for Burgoyne, hoping Buddy's career goes the same way as Williams

They are on some serious sh*t if they think Jetta is worth a late first rounder. Late 2nd rounder maybe.

Would not be surprised one bit if the Hawks land either N Riewoldt or Montagna, too much smoke coming from Moorabbin not to have some substance to it.
Darling also a dark horse for the Hawks. Both players fir exactly the role Buddy played this year as a lead up forward and both do it better than buddy

Jim will be happy to hear that Neil Craig looks likely to get a position at Essendon and maybe even the interm coach for next season

He will sort that club out. It'l be be a good old Crows reunion with Neil, Simon and Nathan. This would also mean Bomber is out, replaced by Mark. ;)

And then to say they got what they wanted and won't play in further part in trades was baffling

Because we wont really be getting number 22, by time compo picks thrown in its likely to be down around 26-28.
I think he is an ordinary player but if they want to make him one of their highest paid players than he is definately worth more than pick 22. He aint worth a first rounder but id be happy with pick 22 and an upgrade on our third or fourth round pick. Even better id accept 22 if they take Jetta aswell ;)

Pies and Hawks both getting round 1 compo after their pick for losing Thomas and Franklin meaning Pies having pick 10 and 11 and Hawks 18 and 19, hawks fans won't be happy!

Joel Corey has retired from AFL, im not a Geelong fan but its hard to dislike him as a player, been a great player for Geelong over a very long period and is probably one of the most underated players to be a 2 x All Australian 2x club champion and 3x premiership player and averaged 25 disposals in his 4 grand final appearances for the Cats. Well Played
