You don't need to lift someones arm to stop them from handballing, just hold it.

It will be interesting if the MRP has the balls to judge this as intentional and send it straight to the tribunal, if they don't deem it intentional (how could they not), their language and excuses will be just as interesting if not comical.

Pretty sure Jackson from the tigers dislocated Harvey's arm in the same sort of incident 'described as a chicken wing tackle'. MRP said he had no case to answer. The precedent has been set and should be followed.

His report has been changed to "Rough conduct" not "misconduct".

Misconduct would be straight to the tribunal.

Rough conduct will be given a penalty by the MRP.

Precedent? MRP? Got no idea what you're talking about!
On a slightly more serious note, I don't think the MRP is allowed to look at precedents in their judgements.

If the medical report stats his arm was dislocated from Juddy twisting it (which it is rumoured to), he should be out for at least 3. Very malicious and there was no other reason to do it besides trying to take him out of the game.

Come on Turbo,
It has some relevance.
We all want some consistency from the tribunal (which has been terribly inconsistent of late, especially with the new points system, different argument).
However times have changed & anything that is deemed dangerous should be removed from the game like the AFL are currently attempting to do. Haven’t seen the example from the past, but there is no need to justify a mistake that was made in the past, two wrongs don’t make a right
This was dangerous & rightly should have an example made of it, no matter who committed the offence.

Maybe he could use the “I didn’t mean to grab his arm & twist it dangerously defense”, similar to the “I didn’t mean to elbow him in the head defense” that got him off the striking charge against Pavlich

This. Juddy WADH

Adams is likely to play this week (on the AFL website (North Melbourne Chief), "Although McDonald refused to comment on what North's medical report would reveal about Judd's role in Adams' injury, AFL.com.au understands the report will reveal Adams' shoulder was dislocated in the incident.
However, McDonald said Adams remained a chance to play against Richmond this Sunday".

I think with just this information alone he will get off, and because the MRP are inconsistent!

CARLTON captain Chris Judd will face the AFL Tribunal over his controversial 'chicken-wing' tackle on North Melbourne's Leigh Adams after the match review panel chose to send the case straight to the judiciary.

Judd was reported by a boundary umpire and charged with rough conduct over for the second-quarter incident on Friday night in which he wrenched Adams' arm back while the Kangaroos midfielder lay on the ground with Andrew Carrazzo on top of him.

The medical report tabled by North Melbourne to the MRP is understood to have said that the tackle dislocated Adams' shoulder
