Teams success isn't a indicator of AA selection. We have seen teams before miss finals and have multiple entrants and we have seen Premiership sides have only 1 or 2 make it. Hurley and Zerrett will make it. Daniher will need to continue on his current good form but I think he is right in the mix

I think your wrong mate, can you tell me the last time a team that missed the 8 had 3 reps?

Surprised none of you gentlemen have put up Garletts name as a contender against Gray and Betts, actually im not surprised at all.

Any Melbourne based report has him well and truly in the conversation, numbers stack up very well

Tex will be the CHF and captain. He will continue on his current form and will finish second in the Coleman and be number 1 for assists

You may make the 8, to do so the 3 will definitely have to have performed at AA level.
Think you may win every game from here only one 50/50 game

This is Essendon you are talking about. We never beat North and are prone to playing too many shockers. Could go 1-5 as easily as 5-1 over our remaining games

Yeah but have you *seen* him play though Zartan. It's beautiful.

I think I'll follow my gut and go with

Really? I wouldn't even have him in any conversation for AA this season whatsoever (not backed up by stats, just from what I've seen).

I'd have Rampe in too (probably instead of Howe), but has perhaps missed too much footy

Gray, Betts, Walters and Green have been discussed as the small forwards, Garlett hasn't for good reason.

Sloane isn't unlucky, his form the past 5-7 weeks hasn't been that good

Yeah i've seen them all play, and that's why I think Gray is ahead of them all. Stats back that argument up.

Also think Betts is electric, rate him highly but he's also a beneficiary of a very efficient forward line and football side in general. Gray on the other hand is literally Ports most dangerous forward.

Garlett looks rejuvenated and it's great to see, but if i was picking a player for my side he'd be 3rd in line behind Gray/Betts.

Highly unlikely to make it, but if Fantasia had a big finish to the season wonder if he'd be considered for the squad? 32 goals for the season I think is only surpassed (talking small forwards) by Betts and Gray and level with Jeffy.
