Yep! That was an important kick, Adelaide has the momentum but he misses and Hawthorn take the ball down the other end and kick an easy goal.

Then 2 clearances out of the centre and another 2 quick goals and suddenly the Hawks go from 13 points up to 31 points in less than 2 mins.

Let's sit danger in the forward 50 then whack him on the bench for 3to 4 mins and lose the last 5 centre clearances.. Clever coaching.

But I thought betts was the best small forward ever?

Lol I don't think so Eddie does alright as a small forward but give Cyril 5 mins in the midfield and he rips most sides a new one..

4 games for the hawks at AO all had 50,000 crowds. I also believe they have all been sold out.

That the difference between the top 3-4 teams and they rest of the comp. The top 4 make their possessions count.

Scary thing is that the Hawks have had 13 goal kickers but Gunston and Roughead arent on that list. What a great spread, thats why they have been such a successful side recently.

Hawthorn have absolutely blitzed the Crows in this last quarter, like Suri alluded to above, they've made their possessions count. They just flicked the switch and made their forward movements look like training drills

How good is Roughead, I love how as a key forward he goes into the middle and wins his own clearances.

Cyril turned it on but god I can't stand the commentators love affair with him.

Adelaide's skill level absolutely kills them!! They definitely get enough possession to match it with the top 4 but their skill excitation is very poor.

I'd love to know why Dangerfield was on the bench when his team really needed him out there in the midfield.

Probably trying to get use to him not being there.

I agree, if Adelaide can just get their disposal right they will put themselves in a much better position to play finals. Hopefully the guys can build on this over the season and still make the finals.

Hawks won fairly easily without Gunston & Roughhead kicking goals. That's a frightening stat for 17 teams.

Crows played well but were outclassed again. Pretty fair reflection of where we are at

Why was Daingerfield starting forward in the last?

Why was he off the field for 5 minutes having a call with campo when the Hawks started smashing them?

He certainly had a dirty night but I thought Hawthorn put a bit of time into him. Definitely went at him most if the night.

My take on the game
- Hawks cleaner with the ball and efficiency numbers show that.
- Hawks tougher at the contest. Have a look how Jenkins played last night compared to the Hawks defenders.
- Hawks much quicker than their opponents. Van berlo constantly being left behind by the Hawks runners.

The only thing keeping us in that game was Sloanes attack on the ball, Laird, and the defense of Cheney and even Hartigan stood up.

We need another key forward and key backman big time.

IMO if Danger is staying around, we need his speed on the outside. We have Sloane, Thommo, Crouch boys to get the hard ball inside and feed it out. Yes Danger can do that but I would rather him be the link so he can run and gun with the ball

He's a downhill skier. Electrifying when they're winning, nowhere to be seen when they struggle.

Really? You want him burning the ball on the outside?

His career clanger count will be the highest of any player ever, I think both Crouch brothers will be better used as ball users than ball winners.
