here is an older report i have found about the effect of interchange on the speed of the game. pretty interesting. Ill try and find some other articles. I know Kevin norton has written a lot about this sort of stuff (my bro studied sports science and used to tell me all about it), Ill see if there as been any followup research done since the sub rule has been implemented
