Would your employer suspend you from work if you were to appear in court on rape charges??

State MP Bernard Finnigan was suspended and still is pending his court case outcomes.

At my work place you most certainly do get stood down / suspended for a variety of criminal charges until the legal process has fully run it's cours then the employer either re-instates or dismisses them. Quite simple really!

Yep I know of a public servant stood down when charges that, lets say were similar to what Milne is on, were laid against that person.

I'm not sure but I think it is still Rape if she was too drunk to notice the first few, due to his not obtaining valid consent.
