Great hit by Hodge, disgrace if he gets done for that

It's not the Murphy hit he will get done for.

Who else did he hit?

This. They need guts players as they have too many sheep dogs but those guts players are under par in terms of skill. Murphy a massive out for a team not running out games.

Glad the Hawks won because I picked them but gee Carlton were very, very stiff with the umpires, some of their decisions were horrible. Blues fans have every right to be pissed off after that, I feel for them at the moment.

No TDK, I feel good about Hodge being run down and not disposing of it correctly and the team then moving the ball down the field and kicking a goal. I feel good about Sewell dropping the ball after ample opportunity and the Hawks kicking a goal. I feel good about Sam Mitchell spiking a ball (which would've been penalised in a Volleyball thirds match at MARS stadium) and getting away with it.

And that's just three I can recall off the top of my head. Then there were 23 frees in their favour and only about 15 in ours. It was moreso the ones not paid (as mentioned in this paragraph) that hurt us.

But overall, I feel good.

The ump got that one right. Was a clear push in the back to the Hawks player before Mitchell did that.
Some of the other calls were terrible though

Bottom line very poor officiating tonight that certainly did have an impact on the game negatively for the Blues.
Other than that we were playing against the top side and did reasonably well. Still learning the Mick game plan and to use it effectively for 4 quarters. Have lost 6 games with the largest margin 17 points. Will continue to improve I believe.

I agree blues got rough ride. But people saying Mitchell got away with a throw is absolute gold.
