Phil Harper mentioned last night that Adelaide only enquired if Cloke would be willing to move to Adelaide to live and hadn't really heard back from his manager. I'm not sure they're "in the race" for Cloke exactly.

Cloke won't go to Adelaide. As I've said before unfortunately he'll prob up with us and we pay too much for him when we should be channelling our focus on retaining and developing casboult, and mitchell (who should be good). I reckon collingwood would be worse off without him as he takes the oppositions best defender plus a drop back player too and kick some goals. Who's gonna do that for them? Dawes??? He's crap at best.
Crows should trade Tippett while he's worth something as who knows how much his head injuries have had an impact. He can go to the goldy for something reasonable. Not sure the Tippett/walker forward line is a good option although Tippett can go into the ruck.

Bottom line is I reckon this trade period will interesting (and long!!) with some key moves a definite to happen
