Trying to get him when his price plummets

Eddie wont be dictated to and this would be a line in the sand move..... No player is bigger than Collingwood FC mentallity

I think Cloke has officially signed his death warrant in the black and white.

freo would be unbeatable with Super Pav on the ball and Cloke and Bradley up forward

People fail to realise he's being used differently compared to last year. Perhaps this is having a negative affect on his form.

How is he being used differently to last year?
It might look that way because he's not positioning himself to mark the ball & kick goals like he was last year.

Best move Collingwood could have done (putting talks on hold).

Concentrate on the footy, worry about the contracts for next year AFTER this year.

I think it would be nice for the player to know where he stands and where he will be playing footy before the end of the year, no point sticking around a club if they are just going to shut the door in your face.

Wrong. He's a damn good player and in recent weeks was still leading the league's contested marks. Although the past two weeks would've put a dent in that. Form is temporary and he's got none at the moment.

I had to read that twice - I thought you were suggesting he'd done some damage to his value, about $15k worth.

It would be nice, but instead of trying to compete with closet offers from other clubs, just put it off.

He knows where he stands, he's not worth $1million dollars a year at the Collingwood F/C "simple " but if he keeps believing he's worth that with the form he's in he'll have the door shut in his face & he can play with Freo where he thinks its too hot.
To be honest i think his Footy Show display that night might backfire on him with that club anyway.
Travis Cloke is bringing un-needed attention & pressure to himself with his demands which has clearly had an affect on his form & the clubs form of late.
I have this feeling he could be dropped this week.

Theyd have the most expensive forward line in Mitch Clarke and Cloke...and it wont make any difference to their success
