Maybe, maybe not, but what is certain is that they ruined what should have been a great game of football.

Well done to Geelong though, Chris Scott continues to impress me.

If they allowed Pendleburys goal i'd have been a very happy man
Is it Chris Scott or inheriting a good group??

Even Scotty himself deflects any praise saying I'm lucky to have got such a resilient squad.

The Cats certainly looked like they wanted it more, their gut busting running & aggressive tackling was a highlight tonight they deserved the win & were unlucky i suppose to not win by 5 or more goals.
Collingwood had far too many players not on song last night- Swan, Didak, Dawes, Cloke etc the list goes on, when their on song Collingwood we know are very hard to beat but the Geelong players were far more accountable for their opponents than Collingwood were.
I thought Collingwood were very timid in their tackling, nowhere near the ferociousness of Geelong.
One thing i learnt tonight is the Cats have regrouped after seeing off the "liar liar Thompson" & Gary Ablett, they are a force once again, well done to them.

Was very frustrating watching the Pies commit repeated turnovers when we were under no pressure from opposition. It was like they hadn't played a game last week

Doubtful free kick to the Woods does not make the distance

Geelong 8. 16 64
Coll 9 8 62

Where was the advantage though? It was a goal to pendlebury

Justice. It was a bullshit free kick to begin with. As was that 50m penalty that was given to Collingwood after Geelong played on when the free was given against us. No problem with that in isolation but the same thing happened in the first term and the Pies kicked it away and there was no 50.

Turnovers by foot when you're 10-20m in the clear - no pressure.

Yeah agree with that. The cats have done well since Ablett has been gone, it has opened the door for players like Menzel and Duncan to come through who both look pretty good.
