I agreee in part with Dutchy in that I have always believed it is the bottom 11 that can be more important than the top 11.

However, the rider on this is that I believe a real contender needs 3-5 dead set champions. Not every team has this elite group all the time.

I think Collingwood's top 11 is > Adelaide's for example

Their bottom 11s may be more even

I thought the crows would be a chance to make the 8 probably around 5 - 6th this season. My bad boys, I was wromg!

I also thought the Gold Coast would get 5 - 6 wins. I must have been smoking something that day, probably 1 - 2 wins at most. I thought they would beat Brisbane, but after watching the effort that the lions have been putting in I don't think that the GC will be able to match them. So again thats 2, I was wrong.

I was wrong...

To see Gary Ablett dominating the second half of today's game, my one-sided bromance is still there...

Sorry Gaz, still love ya!

Hardly had a touch to half time but turned it on when he had to, no doubt his influence in the 2nd half totally turned the game

I thought the Crows made a huge mistake recruiting Tambling....

I was RIGHT !!!

Come on mate he plays for the Crows so he must be a footballing marvel, just like his mates Walker and Tippett.

Walkers gone and you should let him go if he wants to. McKernan is such better value!

I thought Tambling would be a decent pick up an addition to that side, but again I was wrong.

I missed most of the Carlton/Crows game, so I'm genuinely curious - was Tambling poor all game, or 1 or 2 poor efforts? Was his direct opponent BOG or something?

Far too early to make a call on Tambling I reckon, he's played what 3 games for his new club?

Very harsh on Tambling. Was far from our worst last night and in fact has been good for us in all 3 games. I was a bit sceptical when we recruited him but I think he's been good value so far.

I was wrong predicting the kangas to finish on verge of top 8. Looking very bleak for roos and looking like a bottom 4 side
