Agreed with many comments here - basically if Adelaide expects to play finals this year then they must beat Port tomorrow night. A loss = pretenders IMO.

Throughout all of NC's years at the helm, the Crows have had an issue with over-possessing when under pressure, and the good tackling and hunting teams then pick them apart.

It's obviously worse now than it's ever been (granted the personnel is also much different now) .. It's that old Norwood style of handball, handball, handball which rarely stands up under extreme pressure.

As mentioned and alluded to in another thread, I can see some pretty big offers coming for Mr Goodwin and/or Mr N Bassett.

Clearly there has to be a major enquiry into Crows mindset after tonights effort .The inability to beat a lesser skilled team & not even stand up when the pressure from Port increased. What a disgrace Not one senior player stood up.
What a pathetic effort from an AFL team. Injuries were not an excuse tonight 60+points turn around from 1/4 time, 14 Goals to 2 after 1/2 time

Neil craig has to take a long hard look at himself. Game day his tatics are left a lot to be desired. Not being able to shutdown a team on that are on a roll has to be addressed
The Crows players need to show some G&D when under pressure & chasing opposition when things arent going to plan.
I certainly will be listening to Neil Craigs press conference.His comments will be interesting. He will loose some support tonight if he is soft with his review

Yep, I've always been a Craig fan be even I have to admit after the game tonight he has to be put under some pressure.

I'm still scratching my head. WTF happened tonight?? We were in complete control of that game and a with a bit of pressure it all came crashing down like a deck of cards. 2 goals after half time, I mean FFS.

Yep that's a bit of a monumental loss, not because of who the opposition was, but the manner in which they were meekly brushed aside .. As Phil said, you certainly would have to question their mental toughness.

I dont believe for a second that Port are "a lesser skilled" outfit .. Their level of consistency might fluctuate a bit, but they have plenty of ability, no doubt about that. They also look after tonight, as though they are a level above the Crows in intensity and between the ears.

I think the thing that disappoints me the most is the lack of fight. I kept waiting for them to respond to Port's challenge and they never did. Blokes like Vince & Dangerfield just faded out of the game completely. These are the blokes that are supposed to be winning games for us.
