Collingwood have been hard dealt with at the tribunal with Daws getting a game for a soft slap to his opponent.
I don't understand this tribunal, they give 1 week for a slap & 2 weeks for a deliberate elbow ( Brown "Gold Coast" )

I'm sure the AFL are just trying to make a game of it Anzac Day Vs Essendon.

It's farcical, but all we can do is watch in bewilderment.

Tactically, I think it results in unpredictability to the Collingwood attack and Hird might not know what to expect from Malthouse's forward structure.

Tough draw once more. I see they have a bye in round 7 and 13, well spaced for a mid season break and then another just before they roll towards finals.

Would have thought having a bye in the last third of the minor round would be more advantageous leading into the finals :-?

i'm assuming you're referring to the r7 bye being midseason? in which case, it's not even a third of the season in, let alone "midseason"

again, i'm assuming you're referring to the r13 bye being "just before they roll towards finals"? yeah, a mere 3 months before finals starts.

move along now.

No, by mid-season I mean rounds 7 and 13, thats about the middle of the season, yeah?

Play 6 games, have a break, play another 6 have a break than have 8 to get up and running for finals.

Seems pretty good to me. Move along...

You move along, get into your precious Power board and comment there.
I would, but I'm not allowed to ;)

You precious Port supporters, with your Port only board.
Who said there are no advantages being a Port supporter.
As bad as the Crows you lot.

Yeah, well, the 5 of us in the Power board all agree with each other and it doesn't get very busy in there either!

We dont have a tigers07 like the Crow boys do to throw mud at all the time. ;)

Something was said. Not good. What was it? "Don’t yell at Homer!" No, that’s OK. What was it? "Slow"! They called you slow!

As a neutral supporter in the AFL I reckon I should be able to post on the Power and Crows boards, as long as I behave myself.

Nah, my earliest memory of football is the 1990 GF so I'm fond of Essendon supporters
