Great win for the young lads, didnt get to watch the game but from what i heard they ran harder and got to the ball first and their ball use in the wet was pretty good. Maybe it should rain at Etihad this week

I think it is what the team needed for a bit of confidence, the competition is so even right now (well from 13th upwards), any tipper who is getting more than 5 a week surely is just guessing, im struggling anyway...

I got 7 Cossi! Only Collingwood stuffed me up.

Well done to the Tiges, I thought they might upset Port this week but I didn't think they'd do it that easily. One comment during the week from Robert Walls was saying that they had a mosquito fleet of 179cm and below (I think there were 12 or 14 of them). I thought, that combined with inclement weather, plus improved form might upset a team who struggles to come back from Darwin each year.

GO YOU TIGERS!!!!

What a game by the tigers. Great all round effort.

Riewoldt of the Jack variety now leading the Coleman medal!

Dustin Martin, at this stage, i think Richmond have found the better of the top 3 picks in Scully and Trengove. Biast or not, i think Martin is a superstar in the making!

Like what i saw today, these kids have a real hot go, know the opposition wasn't overly flash but these guys seemed to put the foot down in each 1/4 for a 4 to 5 goal burst when required. Have a potential 100 a year FF up there who does alot of hard work and some of the delievery coming through the middle is superb. Ben Cousins, showed great leadership out there today, talking to the kids, settling them down, encouragment given if they made a mistake. The coach has a lot to work with here with this side, will win a few more this season, i think we could well see a steady climb up the ladder in the next couple of years if the coach is left alone and left to build the talent he has

Well said Locky. Cousins' critics will keep quiet for a while because of the form he is in, and the leadership he is showing! Definitely good signs at Richmond. More then what i was thinking 6 weeks ago.

With plenty of salary cap room, the trade period could be huge for us, and bringing another experienced player to the club.

With Jack playing like that he will be extremely hard to beat in one on one contests. 45 goals after 11 rounds in the side thathas only won 2 games and are bottom of the ladder. Remarkable effort!!!

Loved the effort today. :D :D :D We will go backwards in our development at stages but the talent looks exciting and agree Locky the coach needs to be left alone to develop the team without interference. A couple of senior age recruits in the draft who can add would be nice but all looks very promising!!!! :D :D

No. Simple answer because idont think the crows will finish bottom. West Coast may though with near guaranteed loses outside of WA. Richmond still to play the Kangas, Adelaide, Port, Melbourne!

Richmond supporters should be happy at the moment. They are starting to show signs that in a few years they will be competative. The forward line is beginning to look structured, then again when a bloke kicks 5, 6 or 7 or even 10 goals things start to look good. Well done to young jack seems to have confidence in his own marking ability, its only good for richmond.

I have to admit two things. I was very wrong. At the start of the year I thought they wouldn't win a game. As for the second thing, I have to admit I'm getting swept up in the excitement and the way they are playing. The faithful must be at least having some belief now that the club is on the right path (although yes, they would've been there many times before). Of course it's a tempered excitement for me cos I'd hate to see them beat the Blues.

Well done to Richmond. Played some really gutsy footy in the last couple of matches. Damien Hardwick is coach of the year by an absolute street.

Gutsy footy it was. Not only being 33 points down in the third, which most sides would struggle to come back with, but a young side in ours it was great to watch. Even more so against SYdney since its so damn hard to score against them with their game plan. Great game for our club.

Benny Cousins was good, Chris Newman was superb in the second half and Andrew Collins, well his last quarter was typical of our day. Damn gutsy!

On a side note, how good is Dustin Martin going to be. He is one of the strongest bodies in the comp as a midfielder already IMO. He shrugs off numerous tackles everytime he gets the ball.

hardwicks attitude all along has been 1st class IMO even after 0-9. Im extremely happy with the way he is going, and where he is taking our club!

RIchmond v Freo this week in Melbourne. Il be backing our boys to win against a Barlow-less Fremantle, who after all, are still Fremantle and are prone to shit performances, especially on the road! Combatting Sandilands is the difference IMO.

Also, i might add, even though we got 33 points down, Sydney only had a period of real dominance in the third quarter.
Our intensity and tackling was first class for nearly the entire game. Our young tigers are damn good to watch.
After finally following Westies and Tigers for many years, i got to see 2 wins on the same weekend again. I love seeing my side win lol

Iv noticed so many people like the tigers and take them on as their second team as such. Not many people hate our club, mainly because everyone feels sorry for us, but still so many people i know are loving seeing the Tigers win, supporters of them or not.

Had a serious case of Hardwick envy yesterday.

Just seeing his passion on the bench.

Meanwhile we're stuck with a stunned mullet in the coaching box.
