Possible I guess.

Question for all, can the club trade a player to another club without the players consent?

No, the player ( if contracted ) must agree to it.

If out of contract the player has the club by the bollocks.

S.Burgoyne for Franklin,Sewell and pick 9. Done deal.

Andrejs Everitt looks like he can play but can't get a regular game, what i was thinkin is maybe a trade to West Coast for Staker. Staker looked like a dangerous forward, fairly strong but how old is he? probably be just like Mitch Hahn really at the end of the day...

effectively the Dogs need a Key big forward, Midfield is solid, back is solid, small/medium forwards are more than solid, just that one monster. imagine if we had a J Brown or Riewoldt......

Midfield and small forwards are sensational, and a good defence led by Lake.
A big key forward would make that team and allow them to really dominate.
Staker is not the answer.

From a Crows point of view could we use Gill, Sellar as trade bait. Would any other club want them or will they simply be delisted.

Why would the Crows de-list Sellar? They have a young big man with pedigree and promise, he surely stays.

Precisely, and Gill has played his last AFL game ... no-one else will be interested.

I think Collingwood should seriously look at trading Leon Davis.
Mick should get on the blower & phone Shaun Burgoyne asap as that would be the ideal trade.

Agreed. Sellar looks OK to me but he appears to be the whipping boy of the Blackbirds fans on here. He will get better as well I reckon.

Sellar's earned a lot of respect from Crows fans this year. He was a whipping boy before that but he's becoming a bit of a cult figure now.

Good on him!
