The have said if they get the right offer KORNES will go.

IM thinking.

KORNES to adelaide. GRIFFIN, DOUGLAS and a middle range draft pick to the POWER.

KORNES would be icing on the cake for the crows midfield. and it would be bye bye shirley. KORNES to the grows allows the thompsons, vinces, van berlo to play attacking footy knowing they have arguably the best tagger in the comp in there side.

Port have already said there looking for a ready made ruckman. Griffin has 30 games.

But really, even tho KORNES and the others are up for trade, i cant see the POWER giving crows there best player in KORNES

I started a thread about a month ago that Ebert wanted to be traded. I think he needs to leave Port to save his career. West Coast are interested is what I have been told. I guess Seaby is rumoured to be going to Port and they have Brad Ebert.

Interesting to hear Brett Eberts name up for trade.
Maybe a good idea Brett goes interstate & his oldman Russell keeps his nose out of his football business & let him just play.
I've heard of late Choco's not in Russell's good books for the way his son is used week in week out.
Matty Knights wasn't in his good books either & was blamed for Bretts loss of form ( from Russ ) in 2004 although he was tried in every position available to gain it.
Sometimes your parents can be your worst enemy!
I though Russell would know better.

As an outsider looking in Brett Ebert seems to be one of those guys who is a star in the local comp, but aside from the odd game here and there seems to struggle to have a major impact at the highest level. Maybe he is doing what is expected of him but personally think he is capable of alot more but doesn't deliver. Have thought for a few years his best option would have been at another club where the name would be less of a factor like Brisbane or Sydney.
Trust the process.

On AA tonight when they were talking about Thurstans' retirement, Stephen Rowe said "great career". Now he must be kidding if he thinks a player like Toby Thurstans has had a great career....

Rowe is a tool. He has a very small brain.
However, anyone who plays over 100 games of AFL and is high in the best player list of an AFL Premiership I think would be entitled to believe they have had a great career. There's not many players who could say they've enjoyed the same amount of success Thurstans has had.

Toby was certainly a frustrating player throughout his career.

But he did kick three goals in the 2004 GF.

Well done, TT.

Just won't be the same without his brain-fades...

If the reports are true that Junior Burger has walked, well, the club is well and truly beyond crisis point.

Sydney is the club Port once was...

Have heard this. Sydney want gun midfielder and it appears they are willing to put there first round draft pick (pick 6) on the table for him. Will be interesting to see what happens. But there could be other teams interested as Shaun Burgoyne is an excellent clearance player and Port maybe be able to get more from A Melbourne based clud, perhaps a higher pick and an player. You never know.
The key thing will be not to let him determine where he wants to go, because then like the Judd situation you really loose your bargining power. But then again you can end up with the Nick Stevens situation.

I think a first round draft pick for S Burgoyne would be a good deal for Port on recent form, and they would be wise to take that deal if he really wants to go.
A few years back his form may have justified hanging out for a bit more.

Probably a fair point. Pick 6 would probably be the best result for Port.

Pick 6 and a young ruckman would be my price, thats if I had to lose him. I hope ( and understand from what I have heard ) that we wont.
