Maybe Mr66 remembers the song[who sang it ??????????????????????????????]

Carole King wrote it and sang it, but Helen Shapiro did a cover later on.

Back to the Saints, they've got what it takes to be a legitimate premiership contender, don't worry about who they have or haven't played yet.

I'm not, although I'd like Otto, Chapman, Ablett and Milburn fit for when we play them.

It's time the Saints recycled that hack McEvoy and played youngster Rhys Stanley as the second ruckman. Showed good form in the ressies although only 93 kilo at the moment.

Can do the job for them and if you think he can too, join the facebook group to support the youngster's pledge!!

Happy to scrape home against the eagles tonight given the travel factor and the expected let down from last week.

Roger Moore in the 60s went thru undefeated
Will SK be the first AFL team to go thru undefeated in a season ?

The draw
SK V AC
SK V WB
SS V SK
HW V SK
ES V SK
SK V NM
ML V SK

The next 5 games look difficult
Surely they will lose one
Or are they better off losing one, and concentrate on richer glories

We can only play where we are scheduled to play.

Seem to remember winning in the open air in Perth on Sun.

Beatles number 17 next week
Can the music gurus tell all the Beatles song with 17 in it [ lyric starting with "Well...]

SK $1-33
WB $3-30
Thats the possible odds this week
I do give WB a hope
They are as pretty as Cassuis Clay
IF they stay with SK early they might over run then
WB IF they get the ball moving are very very good
This game sccccccccccccccccccccccccccccres me

LADDER
MOST WINS IN SUCCESSION IN A VFL/AFL SEASON FROM ROUND 1
2000...ES...20
1929...CO...18
2009...SK...16
1956...ML...13
1953...GE...13

Could the Saints be the first ever club do be undefeated in a season ???

IRONIC
SK would be going for the equal record of 20 when they play ES in round 20
ES would be playing to defend that record
That would make that game almost as BIG as the SK/GE game this year

Expectation is a marvellous thing. A lot of people are just taking for granted that St.Kilda will fail in the finals ... just as they took for granted that nobody would defeat Geelong last year.

There is a lot to like about what St.Kilda are doing in 2009, and to ignore this would be very silly indeed.
