Port to Tassie hey...... does this also include a move by all Port supporters to the isolated island south of the mainland? Im all for it.

Senator O'Brien last night told the Northern Territory News: "Not only have I never made any submission suggesting Port Adelaide be moved to Tasmania, but that idea is of a prankster.

"I suggest you could source it to my colleagues in the Senate who come from SA and support the Crows."

Senator O'Brien was in transit to Queensland last night when Radio FIVEaa sportscaster Graham Cornes reported the Senate inquiry could conclude Port be moved to Tasmania to serve as the island's AFL team.

The AFL was firm in rejecting the Senate inquiry could force the Power move.

"Our model is clear - we want AFL football every weekend in SA and WA and, with expansion to 18 teams, in Queensland and NSW," the AFL declared last night.

"Port Adelaide is not being moved out of SA."

Rather be playing at Alberton? Maybe Ethelton? Take over Seaton Ramblers oval? I agree that AAMI is a hole but have you looked at Port Adelaide lately? All the apartments in the world couldn't fix that place.

If they count the penguins it might be the only way they could attract a decent crowd.
