Must admit I was doubtful about his ability, but it seems he has busted the door down to get into the team, hope he rips it up.

There’s a couple of former Geelong ones that went alright, their name escapes me

That's right, higher profile was the term used. Ablett & Daicos got that covered too.

Pulled the trigger on Wardlaw this week. I encouraged a guy in my draft league to bring in Goldy a few weeks back after averaging over 90 for about six weeks. He brings him in, goes 37 then gets dropped

Alastair Clarkson will resume all senior coaching duties immediately after North Melbourne’s match against West Coast in Round 20.

You’d think he’d take the rest of the year off and prepare for preseason training.

I brang a harmonica on a footy trip, had no idea how to play it. After 10 hours of boozing on the flight I was playing it like a pro, on the 3 hour bus ride to our destination.

North Melbourne great and former club captain Jack Ziebell will call time on his playing career at the end of the current AFL season.

Ziebell revealed his intentions to the group before training on Friday morning.

The 276-game veteran said he will walk away from the game knowing he’s given his all right up until his last match.
