Scarlett does his best work when blokes aren't looking- be the type of bloke to back-door you

If Scarlo's version of events is correct then Maxwell deserves his spray.
Sounds like Maxwell started it all

Apparently Scarlett fired off first, in a final prior to that, so Scarlett deserved whatever it was he got.
Doesn't change the fact that Scarlett ran up behind Maxwell, hit him in the back with an elbow, and scurried off before he could face up to him.
Piss weak.

Something Maxwell is known for cheap shots. Bloke is not courageous he is so un skilful and is the worse one on one player in the comp IMO

Then it isn't a very good opinion. ;)

Interesting to discuss over/under rated. I dont think I have ever heard anyone say Maxwell is a superstar/modern day great, has anyone ever heard that?

Most I think would say he has played the third man up role very well in a team that participated in the pointy end of the season for many years and has captained the biggest club in the AFL during that time. So for Malthouse and Buckley to have him as their captain, for playing groups over many seasons (if they vote like most clubs do) to elect him as a leader says something about the bloke, surely?

So is he over rated? I dont think so, I think most people see him as effective without being brilliant and a good leader. Scarlett should keep his limited thoughts to himself.

He was asked about it on AFL Game Day and said something along the lines of "being over-rated means at one point i was actually rated, i'll take that" thats not a direct quote but it went something like that.

Seen him on Open Mike and he seemed like a decent bloke. This episode makes him look like an absolute tosser.

I'm not saying they do. And I highly doubt they do.

But sick of seeing articles about it on so many websites.

It's 1 day. They are professional athletes. I think they will survive.

Massive game for the Pies tonight. The media were all over Sydney even though they hadn't beaten anyone this season and now all of a sudden the media are all over Collingwood. The Hawks have proven to be Collingwood's kryptonite just as Collingwood is for Geelong and Geelong is for Hawthorn.

Whoever can break free of this game of Rock, Paper, Scissors could be a force to be reakoned with this September. I'm still liking the Dockers for the flag but we'll learn plenty about Collingwood tonight.

Dismiss us at your own peril......Swans have built their entire premiership seasons on winning the games that matter, and not getting hung up on who they have/haven't beaten in the home and away season

You wont win the flag unless you go top two.
