In my opinion there needs to be a review of intentional incidents such as Wellinghams. Why should you as a footballer "Make someone earn it" in a way such as that and then have the benefit of having 25% taken off your penalty with an early plea. In all fairness he didn't try to kill the bloke, but after admitting to making him earn it in a public domain and you see the outcome...He lives by the sword, he dies by the sword.
Funnily enough in contrast to our latest debates you would get more for this incident 6-7 years ago. This is as bad as Milburn on Silvani and if it was more head on it had the potential to cause the same injuries as the Lockett on Caven incident.
I reckon you'd get more for this @ amateur level.

3 weeks 10 years ago. @ the time it was considered a light punishment let alone now. Game feels like yesterday. Thought someone was going to die that day after he came off.

Out of interest, what would be the offence Judd is charged for?

Reminds me of the incident against a North Adelaide player a few years back against WWT.

Which is all it should be but those that love slaying champions and will make some ridiculous statements. That's ok, their opinion.
Have seen Rhys-Jones around the club recently. Maybe he's been passing on some tips

Doubt it, David was a thug and laid a lot of cheap hits but he was man enough to go toe to toe with most blokes aswell, if he had tried what Judd did I can guarantee he would have been belted by North players
Common theme amongst Judd's incidents is that his opponent is lying on the ground, reckon he would run the other way if he was confronted toe to toe
