Not sure about the Joe Richards deal with Port.
We've matched their 3 year deal, not sure about the money though.

He's only played 9 games so mid second rounder?
So picks aren't what fly wants he wants players.
Port can't have Lukosious and keep Houston so one of them has to go.

I'd much prefer we do a deal with GC. Noble goes there along with our first pick or maybe even Krueger or Johnson
Or some complicated deal where we get either Houston or Lukosious would do me.

Collingwood fans are delusional

In what universe is a bloke who was a mature aged recruit who has played 9 average games worth a pick in the 20’s?
July 11th 2012....

We can definitely get Luko and still keep Houston. Its been mentioned on here before and elsewhere plenty of times that a future first would be enough for Luko

He's an early/mid 30's pick.
Mature is a bonus not a handicap. He's 25/26.
His body and mind are sorted and he's hungry.
I hope he stays.

And completely give up the chance of getting local boy Dyson Sharp next year?

I think in time Dyson Sharp will be a good AFL player but I see a bit of Darcy Fogarty in him with respect to being a mature body dominating against kids so I don't think he has the same amount of upside in him as other players in next years draft. Yes, he has played well against senior players in his last five games.

He will be a slow burn development IMO. I hope he doesn't have pressure put on him to be an instant fix for what ever club gets him.

He will make it, he will be a good player at AFL level but his overall career may not match his draft pick (depending on where he's eventually selected)

Time will tell.

Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Without knowing anything about who is from where in next years draft or our list management strategy, I presume if Houston doesn't go this year, he may go next year. No reason why we cant trade back into the draft next year anyway. Whilst I hope I am 100% wrong, Bergman is the one I am worried about possibly losing next year

I tend to agree, he may not have a lot of upside left in him, it won't stop the hysteria next year though.

Also easy to note Port haven't had a huge draft presence over the years and have always been aggressive with FA & trading. I personally prefer SA draftees go interstate and let them develop elsewhere before we try and lure them back with the go home factor

The rumour doing the rounds is that Nick Hind introduced him to a few blokes who may or may not have a finger in the illegal tobacco pie

Jake has befriended Kamil Yucel and has him as a mentor and PT.
Yucel is a former kickboxer that served 5 years in prison for murdering a 20yo lad that owed him money
