I think he may step aside to try and deflect some heat off the club for awhile

I dont think it is but the constant hounding by the media is taking its toll.
I think most people at the club just want this to be over one way or another. Either we are guilty or not just hurry up and make a decision

what happens if james hird comes out in the morning and basically says enough is enough and admits to everything. Will Essendon be able to play this week? This is starting to look more and more like the Lance Armstrong case.

the rumour is that this information has actually been leaked out of the ASADA investigation, IF TRUE not very good day for football. After seeing the way Demetriou spoke today he was not him self, he is usually a very well spoken person today he looked like he was lost for words and shocked. I personally think they have been trying to prolong this until the end of season but now seeing information has been leaked, i think we will finally get to hear the truth, well what ever ASADA think anyway.

I believe there is a loophole in the system and the players will be let off.
Someone at the club with cop it though, It may be Hird it may be a board member.

That is worrying in itself. Someone within ASADA leaking information on an ongoing investigation is not good.

it's a big concern if it's true. The best thing that could come from it is it all comes out and everyone can move on instead of listening to a new rumour everyday.

Yep im over it.
Either fine us, suspend us or faark off.
I know a lot of supporters are getting to the stage where they would actually prefer us to be found guilty and end all of this.
