not sure how- the Pies were not convincing in either finals wins, & Geelong steam-rolled every team in their way.

Just an opinion, they did play in 4 consecutive GF's. Only 4 sides in the history of the game have won 3 in a row so I consider 3 in a row greater than 3 in 5 years. To me win/loss doesnt count for much, look at us in 99,00 and 01, 1 premiership to show for being the best side over 3 years
