Spider Everitt too if including form at other clubs - Some decent big blokes been recruited by the Hawks

Sounds like Vickery has put the cue in the rack... only 5 seasons too late. We've dodged a bullet there, at least we don't have to pay him to stink it up at Box Hill.

Was mentioned that his wage has to be included in next years cap so yes he will paid $500k to follow his wife around the World tennis circuit

It just means his salary that the hawks are saving by him not playing can't be spent on other players, not that it goes into Vickery's pocket.

Pretty sure the article I saw said it was an agreed settlement and he would be paid

yeah but that figure is different to the salary cap figure. Whatever the case, its probably the best thing for him and the hawks.
