At the end of the day the father/son criteria is bullshit.
100 league games in any state is 100 games at the highest level in your state.
SA and WA shouldn't have signed off on it.
It should've been equal in any state.

The WA AFL teams have 4 WAFL clubs aligned to each of the clubs.

Adelaide have 4 clubs aligned to them.

Port have Port Adelaide Football Club and other 4 clubs aligned.

Port actually have 6 in total (Woodville, Torrens, Central, West, North and the now defunct original PAFC) while the Crows have South, Glenelg, Norwood and Sturt.
I assume Port also have the current day Eagles making it 7 too?
Seems a bit lopsided or maybe it takes into account the shallow gene pool down the Port and west and north of town. :lol:
(PS Just kidding, I'm sure it has to do with the pre 90 for the Crows and 97 for Port and mathematically is around the mark)

Woodville-West Torrens, Norwood, South Adelaide and West Adelaide are alligned to Port. Not North or Centrals who along with Sturt and Glenelg are alligned to Adelaide,

Has it changed recently?
The AFL's own rules says this:

The Adelaide Football Club may include a person on its Primary List ifthat person’s father played 200 or more Senior Matches (being either
home and away or finals series matches) at one of the following clubsprior to but not including, 1991:
(A) Norwood Football Club;
(B) Glenelg Football Club;
(C) Sturt Football Club; or
(D) South Adelaide Football Club.

(iv) The Port Adelaide Football Club may include a person on its Primary List if that person’s father played 200 or more Senior Matches (being either home and away or finals series matches) at one of the following clubs prior to, but not including, 1997:
(A) Port Magpies Football Club;
(B) Woodville Football Club;
(C) West Torrens Football Club;
(D) North Adelaide Football Club;
(E) Central Districts Football Club; or
(F) West Adelaide Football Club.

Or are you thinking of the U18 affiliates which is as you described?

I laugh because I think he even believes his own poop sometimes, the home games in Queensland was top shelf.

This one is just a genuine troll attempt.

I had no idea the father son was so rorted by the SA WA clubs

This is how it should work and the only fair way it can work

Your father/ mother played 100 games for the CROWS
Your father/mother played 100 games for the POWER
Your father/ mother played 100 games for WC EAGLES
Your father/ mother played 100 games for FREMANTLE

I am happy for their to be a mother son rule too but I suspect many others wont.

What about a father/daughter rule?

Yes I was. Did not read closely enough. You would have to question why the two lots don't match.

Yeah it seems a bit weird on appearance, probably reasons for it though.

Dangerfield arguing high impact, not severe to minimise his suspension. His lawyer told the jury they should not take Kelly's broken nose into account because broken noses are so common. :shock:

Danger said he was protecting himself...what do you expect
They'll probably win that argument and get it to 2 games as expected...even though the down the ground footage shows him accelerate and launch at him

That is a very naïve view
If you choose to bump, the responsibility is on you to not create a clash to your opponents head regardless how intentional it is.
If two players go up for a mark or go for a ground ball at the same time, and there is a head clash, completely different situation.

That's what I thought he'd get but was expecting a reduction for a good record to bring it down to 2?
Doesn't that happen these days or is he not eligible for it?

Thought he would have got 2 but that other footage gave him another week and made him look like a fool saying he was protecting himself
