So a 4 year deal, or did he have one to run next year making it a 3 year extension?
Either way, sign of the free agency times lads. 2 and 3 year deals for quality players will be a thing of the past. 4 and 5 year deals will become the norm and don't be surprised to see a 6 year deal announced in the near future.
