as a person who doesn't follow either cows or pear.... Showdowns are the funniest... The way some people carry on is hilarious.

Personally i'm happy the cows got up, got a bloke at the footy club who has carried on all year and even port supporters get stuck into the. Also i tipped the crows!

Crows were far to good... Pressure was excellent... And about the free kick count, maybe if port were actuallyu first to the ball more often and not being reckless at times when going for the ball the count would have been different...

port weren't robbed at all... but that's just my opinion, just think port weren't good enough to put the cows away when needed to...

Wedgie wrote:Port were robbed in the first half and they were first to the ball then and were in front of most stats comfortably. Exactly the same incidents happening at either end with the opposite decision paid.

According to Benny that was rubbish ;)

Yep same. Port can and will play better than that and I think they're a better team than the Crows, but the Crows were the better team yesterday

Exactly. Season defining for Adelaide yesterday (as it seems it is almost every week with them) and they got up for the biggest game they've had at the Oval.

So McGuire wants compensation for last night's mediocre crowd. Classic Eddie. Pies must be the only club that cop crap timeslots.

I also heard on radio that eddie is happy for the AFL to be experimental with timeslots BUT not with his club

I would think the obvious way to have Sunday night footy is to play a twilight game in Perth, you get the best of both worlds, Crowds will be fine as it will be a 4/5pm start in Perth and you get footy in prime time on a Sunday night in Melbourne/Adelaide.

Is it that hard?

Maybe collingwood can compensate all the other clubs for constantly getting the 'blockbuster' games

No doubt there'll be retrospective payments made by Collingwood dating back a couple of decades.....

Until Eddie has a cry and it passes on to "middle tier clubs" like Geelong who have busted their arse for 15 years when we going like the Bulldogs.
