People mulled over the permutations and argued about it's connotations.
You can mock it all you like, but the logic is irrefutable:
Teams with a balance of attack and defence are the teams that win flags in the modern era.

Of course it was supported and analyzed, I'd imagine it was posted where analyzers gather to analyze. The rest of the world just missed it while out with friends.
I don't need to have someone plot out the bleeding obvious, you can't win without a balance defence and attack.

The older I get, the more I agree with this

Well that's a slight exaggeration, you said yourself that Sydney & Richmond "bucked the statistical trend"
Do you remember there used to be that plot graph for premiership window based on average for/against of the past xx premiers? I'd rather see that graph than the one you posted.

Please bring Johnson back in. Plays taller than Neade. Is an awkward size and provides the same amount of pressure.
In: Marshall, Johnson
Out: Neade, Clurey

Oh totally. I love a real life friend cull.
It's like a social spring clean. I figure if I haven't interacted in 12 months, there is no need to try anymore and I get the red pen out.

Do the Bulldogs have a third tall? I must admit I'm not across how they're structured up these days.Booney wrote:morell wrote:On another note.

Making Jonas play tall? In a word, no. Jonas plays his best when he's the third man. Clurey the body player, Howard on the tall, Jonas the link between the two.
Neade for Johnson I'm ok with,
Trengove's SANFL form needs to be rewarded soon, not as a Neade replacement, but for his continuity of good form.

Agree re Trengove but there isn't anyone that can drop out unfortunately... Unless we want to give Boak a break
