Just told my 17 yo North Melbourne supporting son get ready for three years of pain

I advised him to have no expectations for the next three seasons at least
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Why would that be off the table?

I was trying to process this last night and its clear something has happened behind the scenes. Either a falling out with someone or something significant.
Hope they know what they are doing, because he has plenty of value to offer yet I think.

He's got plenty of value to someone out there, what do you think his value is on the market in a trade?

1st rounder - Not in my book, if it was I'd say 1st rounder for Brown + 2nd rounder

2nd rounder - Swap for swap? Pick 35 for Brown seems low.

This'll be a mighty complicated one.

Considering Sydney offered 2 1st rounders for daniher last year I think 2nd rounder is a bit low.
Somewhere between 10 and 20 if straight draft picks, but I'd rather keep him tbh.
You could pick up a dud in the draft, or build a side around for a known quantity.
Could also have a significant injury that has been undisclosed?
Just doesn't make sense
