Dangerfield post match "To play for a club with a huge amount of history is a dream come true".
He couldn't leave the franchise quick enough to get this feeling!

The real question is which CEO leaked him the information... Not hard to figure out his source.

If you are implying Essendon you would be wrong.
After some of the crap Slobbo reported about us he has pretty much been banished from the club. Before that he got a lot of inside gossip from our President and CEO

He said up to 11 and confirmed its 9. 10 or 11, who fn cares.
Its clear the general public cant be educated that this is voluntary testing that isnt under WADA.
There is two solutions
Either the AFL drops this extra policy and just adheres solely to WADA or they have it written into players contracts across the board that they are to be free of drugs just like 90% of the population in the workforce. Personally I think the latter is the way to go, 6 weeks suspension 1st up, 3 months 2nd offence, 12 months 3rd and life for any more

Don't see what the fuss is about, they are entitled to a month of holidays like the rest of us and if they want to drop a pinga or snort coke good luck to them. If they are doing it in season throw the book at them

He did not say he guessed the article. He said in the article "up to 11". He also said on 360 how he continued to ask the two clubs above Collingwood but could not get them so he went with the article with Collingwood

Played quite well, kicked 3.3, could have held a few more marks, tackled and applied pressure, competed in the air, got a player in the midfield holding the ball we went forward and put ourselves 18 points in front in the last quarter, Gray kicks 4 at his feet and Wingard 3. Makes it 10 between them, what were you saying again?

He's a clear #1 in the afl's 'Smug **** with a punchable face' power rankings.

I watched the game and he worked hard all day, I think he definitely provided you with a long option as he gives a good contest. As you said just needs to hold a fee more but by providing a contest up forward he gave the smaller brought the smaller types into the game. Although it can be agrued Gray and Wingard bring themselves into the game, still I think he was ok. I do think he his still under done a bit.

I thought the saints showed alot of improvement. I reckonost saint supporters would be happy to see Billings out there. Also guys like Weller and Dunstan were in the play most of the day.

The issue is that the only groups that actually have the true figures cant say anything due to privacy to counter him.

I mean what does Collingwood say? Sure but we dont know so thanks for the heads up?

And here lies the actual issue. The clubs really need to have some idea of whats going on.

Very odd selections for Adelaide.

Petrie, Waite and Brown all forward and Adelaide go with Talia, Cheney and Lever.

Now, Talia is as good as any, Lever is a capable player who looks to be developing into a serious player but Cheney is nothing more than a back up spud. Lever will be Adelaide's third man up for years to come, surely Hartigan and Talia have to do the muscle while Lever does the clever? Cheney isn't either and I think the selection table at West Lakes can take much responsibility for the loss on Saturday night.

Waite killed you after half time as the conduit to goal, Brown and Petrie didn't hold all their marks, luckily, or the margin would have been erased much earlier in the night.

Adelaide's forward line is as good as most, but not when Jenkins has to go to the middle, it looses it's shape and Lynch has to play as a tall and that's not his role. They need to work out who else can take a chop out for 5 minutes to give Jacobs a rest or they'll have the opposition big men all over them in the last half like they did on Saturday.

Charlie Dixon is a beast - he just looks so big and powerful, and his tackling is great to watch.

Just hope for Port's sake they don't get stuck in this habit of bombing long to him and relying on him heavily.. seen that happen with Schultz over the years and once he got shut out of games Port struggled to score.

Exactly, he didn't have an exact figure and said they decided to go with 11 just because. And then slaps Collingwood's name next to an arbitrary number in which several other clubs also fall within.

Top shelf journalism.

Spot on! I was confused as to why we didn't have Hartigan in the team with their 3 talls up forward. Not sure on the solution to the Jacobs problem which is concerning. NVB is not up to standard either.

Interested to see what changes are made this week as the backline is going to be up against it again.

No he was told just under half (of 23), and he wouldn't be getting it from some Joe Blow on the street. Stan is right (imho), and I alluded to it in a previous post, the issues are much bigger than a career journalist doing his job.

- Why dont the clubs get the information first?
- Why do the clubs have to have confidentiality with the AFL on this issue (to the point that they can't defend themselves)?
- Why is there even testing for illicit substances if there's no penalty?
- Why does the AFLPA have so much power?
