Pretty good after match pressers by both coaches.

Lyon would do well to mentor Malthouse on how to conduct himself post match.

LOL, Malthouse is well past it, Lyon probably has his best years ahead of him.

For a while there it seemed the Tuscan Boy was going to ask all the questions at Hinkley's presser.

By the way, apart from broadcasting in SD instead of HD, channel 7 farts all over Foxtel's coverage.

How long has Lyon got left on his contract?
Reckon Freos window is rapidly closing with several of their players close to retirement and from the outside dont appear to have much coming through the ranks. Could slip down the ladder a bit next year. Reckon Lyon would be eyeing off the Suns job as it wont be long before McKenna is flicked

This was the issue at the saints. He didn't develop the next tier of young players. Seems like freo are not as top heavy age wise but seems to be the same thing he ia doing.

Fremantle this year had only 2 players make their AFL debut.

Jesus you blokes are quick to write Freo off

The were grand finalist last year, top4 this year and just lost a semi with out Johnson, Ballentine and McPharlin by just over 3 kicks.

Tough judges around here I expect Freo to be sniffing around top 4 again next year I'd have them in front of Geelong for the short term.

Not writing them off. They will still be very competitive for another years, its just when they fall away due to Lyons non development they will fall away like the saints.
