I can't work out why someone would be so stupid to send the pic in the first place. WADH!!

You'd assume the code of conduct covers this sort of thing.
Throw the book at whoever took the photo and teach the cops its not OK to ruin someone's life to make a quick buck.
2 years is a little over the top but at least name those involved and get their heads on TV and print.
Trust a cop in Victoria..... Nope, pass!

Not saying what the cop did was right, but I think Dean has ruined his own life

Yep if the rumours are true then Dean has no one to blame but himself.
Sad but true.

No winners it this, like a lot of addictions (if this is the case) they need to hit the bottom before they can start the road to recovery, can only hope thats what happens here

Dean Laidley going right on with it! When these North Melbourne blokes meltdown they don't mess around. It was only a few years ago he was an assistant at the Power.

Typical behaviour from the Vic police force too.

A cricket mate of mine over here who is well connected in footy circles, said he was a "known" cross dresser at his time at St. Kilda, and it was also "known" he dabbled in some "stuff"....

My police mate also just confirmed, the copper who sent the photo's has been stood down, but on full pay.

Yep. They are supposed to serve without malice or ill will.
Pretty sure they've failed on both counts here miserably.

Obviously the blokes not well and its his doing, but selling the photos to media is bullshit and needs to stop.

From what I am reading the photos of him dressed as a woman are nothing compared to the photo/video content found on his phone

Illegal content?

It’s not illegal to be a cross dressing swinger.
Weird but not illegal.

Nothing illegal, just lifestyle choices...

Instant dismissal is a thing of the past unfortunately.

Two blokes tonight that would be ruing poor decisions.
Throw in media editors that printed them as well.
Oh wait they have no conscience whatsoever!
