Called it last week. This was 99 all over again when Carlton ruined what would have been a great Grand Final by beating Essendon and wasting everyone’s time next week. Collingwood getting knocked off ruined today’s game. Anyway, we’ll done Richmond - I wish my footy club who has some of the best resources in the country could pull their shit together and perform consistently like you do.... The only hope I hold is that Richmond were the biggest laughing stock in the league for a long time, however I won’t hold my breath....

Poor game & serves GWS right playing unfit players in most important game of the year. Davis should’ve never played & Jack kicked 5 on him, while Whitfield was poor & kicked on his left foot all game & should never have played either.
Selfish comes to mind with perfectly fit players sitting on the sidelines.

Nah you have to play him in my opinion. They held on for their lives last week and the week before. If they didn’t jump Richmond today then they were in for a long day.

I turned off at half time today and went for a walk, surprised how many people were out not giving a shit about the footy

All season and especially towards the business end I thought it would be a Richmond v Collingwood GF, purely because they play at the MCG almost every week unlike GWS, Geelong and the Eagles. I was almost right.

Despite their injury troubles though the season, the Richmond system holds true once again and sees them through to another GF win. As a footy watcher you have to admire how solid their system is and how it produces results in the minor round and most importantly, in finals.

Similar to Mastermind Clarkson, Hardwick gets the results his club is after despite which players are in and out of the side.

What a move by Tom Lynch, instantly a premiership player. Also good to see Riewoldt kick a bag of 5.1 on the big stage after coming under some scrutiny because his lack of impact through the final series.
