Given Carlton and Brisbane's fantastic starts to the season, it goes to show how much emphasis the good teams place on the NAB cup!

The Blues really made the final by default. Sydney and GWS are walkovers, especially Sydney who didn't care at all. They lost to the Crows and beat another lowly rated team that I can't remember.

Carlton have been competitive in all games this year, the Lions have been putrid.
