This club will always be destined for nothingness. I see the Bulldogs winning their second premiership before St. Kilda ever do.

when does the AFL start to question the "culture" of the St Kilda FC like they did with West Coast 3 or 4 years ago?

A funny read. I laughed and laughed the first time I read it, but I'm beginning to think that maybe Nick is being serious.

The Summer of St Kilda...the Herald Sun is really laying it on thick.

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/l ... 5999112923

Luke Ball sacked because he is too slow. Lyon is a goose. Um...someone has to win the hard ball Rossy! The Pies laughed all the way to the flag. It gave them a chance to get rid of that dud O'Bree and play someone much better.

but the coach had a view that every minute after an eighth minute on the ground would leave Luke, and the team, vulnerable to exposure by an opposition player

That is taking coaching by the numbers to the extreme. What ever happened to going with your gut, watching to see if a player is exhausted and then taking him off. I wonder what was being missed while the coaching staff were busy watching the 8 minute clock. :-)

The seem to miss a lot of players sneaking out of their hotel room on a regular basis.

I hope Luke Ball went up to Lyon after the GF and dangled his premiership medal in his face

Who will be judged the better player..

Greg Williams & Andrew Jarman

Yeah off track but reading about Luke Ball being too slow and his '8 minutes' etc just got me thinking.
It's more the point i'm making than the examples.

I liked how they slotted in the end of the article how Lovelett finshed 50m behind a 200cm rookie.
Poor ruckman lol

Diesel Williams and Andrew Jarman being considered in the same class is ridiculous!
Jarman couldn't get a kick on Paul Northeast in the last SANFL GF Port played against Norwood
Williams is miles ahead as a ball getter!!!

the comparison is williams and Jars v Van Berlo and Farren Ray

Williams is superior to Jars

but i would think Jars is a better footballer then Van Berlo and Ray
Matty Wade is a star and deserves more respect from the forum family!
