I'd rather the CEO be vacant rather than have Liddle in that spot.

CEO - Cook
Coach - Clarkson or Pyke
List Manager - SOS

We're not as bad as I thought - Sayers is sorting the wheat from the chaff. Liddle gone (good riddance IMO) which opens a new era for us. Stability off field is what we're screaming for and we have a chance to get it right. I'm hoping we get it right.

That's the thing mate, our list is in pretty good shape. We need stability and clear leadership and direction. I hold hope that just one of those will happen next season.

It was arguably players from other clubs that were worse: Cam O'Shea, Darcy Lang, Aaron Mullet, Dan Gorringe, Matthew Lobbe

I would like to disagree. What he did was make the most out of a bad situation. If you look at our list now compared with 2015/16/17, we're way better off.

Those days, we had little top end talent and zero depth. Now we have depth and better top end talent. The gap is the middle and lower component, from player 8-24 on our list that lacks development.

Like everything else, I think he got cut prior to realising the full potential of his plan.

Remembering he also had a meddling CEO in his ear the entire time, advising him on choices he should be making rather than allowing SOS to do his job.
